So we have our apartment fully furnished now! Chris won a BIG poker tournament so we got a BIG tv. Its a sixty inch LED flat screen. its sexy haha and a new kitchen table from kmart no less. its the pub heighth one and its a darker color. its so cute.

Work is going ok i dont get many hours which stinks so i am going to find a second job tomorrow hopefully. cross your fingers.!!

Chris started in his lab and he loves it so far. He is going to have a stressfull year ahead of him. He was so nervous his first day, but like we all know he will do fine, he knows what he is doing thats why we are here in the first place.

So other then that i have been lucky enough to be able to lay out and tan everyday by our pool!! its so amazing to have a pool again. Beth came over and stayed the weekend we saw Eclipse which was soooo amazing!! I suggest you all see it. I did beths hair purple and dark brown!! I might have to copy her and do purple in my hair again. it is so cute!!!!

We wont have internet for a while so for the time being i am at the library, i needed something to keep me occupied while Chris is away. He doesnt come back till Tuesday, but it is not that far away so it will be ok, i start working again tomorrow i cant wait. I make four dollars more an hour here. Its so cool. Granted we do pay more in rent but not much more. And my Chilis is in the rich part of town bonus.. !!

We got a cute one bedroom apartment, its little but we like it. It even has a back yard!!! its a nice size yard too. I am all finished unpacking and have everything just how i want it. We got our couches today they are beautiful.I cant wait for you all to come down and see it. Your going to love it. I miss you all so much. Plz call me if you need anything I will let you know when i get internet.

we found an apartment today so we will be outta the hotel soon. we dont really have internet yet, chris and i are gettoing frozen yogurt and were using their internet : )

chris and i love it here its beautiful. and freezing right now!! the highest it normally gets here is 96 which is pretty awesome if you ask me. !

So Wed Chris and I went to bed around 2 and Chris woke up around 3 sick as a dog it was coming out both ends. around 6 chris asked to go to the er, but then crawled in bed. still throwing up. Around 9 we finally went, chris was admitted right away, he was extremly dehyrdated so they hooked him up to an iv instantly. So he was in the er all day till 11 and they admitted him into the hospital. The reason they did is because he got that really bad pain in his side again from the last time we were at the hospital. So the doctors still dont know whats going on he was suppose to see a gi doctor today which is a doctor who specializes in intestines...bt he never showed up today : ( They think its either the collides(where your intestines swell), or IBS,or even possibly crones disease. so its been a stressful couple days and he wont get out till the GI doctor comes and see`s him even then he might not get out till they do the procedures. he is going to get a colonoscapey, also they are going to do the thing where they stick a camera down your throat to look at your intestines. I will tell you this has been the most stressful thing ever. I have had to sleep at home the past 6 nights ALONE. one night i had a girlfriend sleep over with me. which i was so greatfull for her. Other then that I have an axiety attack everytime i come home..but i say a pray before i goto bed everynight and it calms me and i feel safe. and mostly sleep through the night. but keep chris and i in your prayers plz..we just want him to feel better and come home. our babies miss him and i feel bad because they are home alone from 9 in the am till 1 am. and you can tell they are depressed when i get home and dot get why chris isnt her, its real sad : ( well love u all and plz plz plz keep us in your prayers.

Jasmine: thank you so much for what you did for me, It made me realize there are ppl who care and dont judge, what you did was amazing, and I love u. never forget that.

Amy: thanks for posting pics of the kids i was just about to ask u to i miss them and miss u.

Mom: thanks for letting me vent and cry to you. your are th best mom i could ask for i love u.

and last but not least Michele your the best to be mother in law, thankyou for welcoming me into your family with open arms and so u know i will always be here to take care of chris no matter what.

I woke up this morning to Chris saying Hank has something wrong we have to go to the doctor. (this might be a little gross to some) On the tip of Hanks penis it was swollen. It looked like he had boyles on the sides of it. So we were conserned it was something from when he got neutered that went wrong because we had removed his stitches ourselves. So we rushed and took him to the specialty center and when we got there and got seen it looked fine, the swelling had went down completly and it was just a little red. So that was good we were just sent out the door and went on our way.

Earlier today I started my period and was having some mild cramps nothing to bad but as time progressed my cramps were awful I was laying in bed curled up in a ball and they just killed, when this happens I hope in the shower and try and chill out, I was in for about thirty minutes and was feeling a little better so I got out and got in bed and I was laying there and they got even worse and my lower back started hurting too. I could not get comfortable it hurt to sit to lay down to stand up to do anything, so i went back and got in the shower, i called chris in because i was in the most pain i have ever been in, mind you i had a kidney infection and this was 10 x worse then that so i asked chris to take me to the er. i wated about an hour to be seen they hooked me up to an iv gave me some pain killers and started running tests. four hours later everything came back fine i am healthy as a horse, bad news they have no idea why i was in pain so they gave me a prescription for ibuprofen and sent me on my merry way. Amy - tell Eli i am allergic to hospitals now too and i got pokies today too. I HATE needles haha so now i am in bed resting because i am pooped!!! no more hospials for a while plz....i cant take it

So it wa goodnews at first then it was bad.. I got hired at great clips..thn she called me two ays later and said my availabilty didnt work out : ( so i have to try again in a little while.

If Chris and I get our loan money in the next few days which hopefully we will we are going to cali on the first still to look for a house if not we have to wait. i really hope we get it sooner then later. i found the most perfect house its so cute. its 5 bed 2 bath two story a detached garage. a porch in the front, its yellow and perfect.. its highly rated and only been on the market 8 days so i dont want it to get scooped up before we can but an offer on it. it wont let me put the link on here but i will try attaching it to the email.

So I had to best visiters ever with me. Beth and Aaron came down and luckily it stormed hard tonight so they are staying another night. we went shopping all day and now we are having hair fun.

SOoOoOOOOOoooo my new niece is finally here she came on wednesday at 318 in the morning!!! she was 7lbs 20 in beautiful as all get out.!!! her name is Maylee Joann she had a full head of brown hair!!! it was so cute. congrats amy and david i cant belive you had her at home by yourselves. i love you guys.

So Hank and Pee Wee are doing really good. its like nothing happened. they were cuddling last night it was so cute. they are such sweet boys..an of coarse bella is good she is the biggest sweet heart of them all. shes such a big baby i love her. i am so lucky to have the puppies i have even tho they can be crazy and ridiculous. all three off them are laying on the bed to the left of me three inches apart from eachother they are so cute. Pee Wees ear is heeling very well. no puss no nothing. my finger is allmost all better i can move it and it doesnt look like a have a ten pund finger any more.

So It was a really good day to start off. Chris and I lounged around slept in late, went to his lab for a while. Went grocery shopping, came home made lunch, laid in bed watched tv..you know its our first day off that we actually got to hang out, it was great...then drama happened. I was sitting down stairs watching tv with bella and pee wee..then hank came down and had a bone and everyone was fine, then pee wee went over and hank growled at pee wee then pee wee growled back, then i went to take the bone away and hank and pee wee went at it. I was trying to break them apart because they were bitting each other and i was screaming because i couldnt get them off each other, then i got bit by one of the dogs and im bleeding and yelling for chris to help me. so we finally get them apart and i am pissed because there is blood every where and i thought it was from my finger where i had got bitten but we looked a pee wee and he has blood everywhere..and when we looked closer his ear was ripped down the middle.. so we put the other dogs in their crates and hurried out the door, we just left the vets pee wee has to stay over night to get fixed up. : ( it was so sad we are lucky he is such a tough boy because he didnt cry one bit. not once if that was hank he would be crying like a little girl bc he is such a big baby. I was crying like a baby too i got bit so hard my finger is like black and yellow and gross looking. yuck and its right on my nuckle so i cant bend it. stupid dogs i was so ticked off if pee wee wasnt hurt i would have kicked them both. no more bones for them if they are going to act like that.

other then that thanksgiving was fun, and quick but good. i am so exhausted we drove to mesa to do dinner with gma and the fam then to yuma after dinner then thursday ate with chriss fam then early fri mornin back to tucson to work. i cant wait for xmas i think chris and i are going to try and spend a couple days in mesa then yuma for a day or so then take a few days for our slef to just relax and be with each other. I am so excited Chris gave me the ok to put a christmas tree up so i am going to decorate and make our house have lots of christmas cheer.

Happy thanksgiving everyone. this year has gone by so fast I cant believe its almost christmas. Its ridiculous how it flashed by it feels like it was just summer.. man o man.

So I am so excited Chris and I are taking Gramma Jan out to dinner tonight, in mesa then headed to Yuma to spend the day with his family. Then come right back and work friday. It will be a quick trip but loads of fun i cant wait.

So Crazy story yesterday would have been mine and chriss four year aniversary if not for our little miss hap. but that means the real thing is coming up soon i cant wait. thats such a long time for us : ) but we are so ridiculously happy and I love him more then anything in the world. I am so thankful to have such a wonderful man in my life.

So its been crazy i am working insane hours! chris is working tons! life in tucson is still boring but ok. living the dream still workin at texas roadhouse and ric ericksons studio. i think i should be made an assistant soon. hopefully.! if not we are moving soon any ways. so idk why i am so worried about it.

My salon was chosen to do an axe hair promotion they are coming out with a new line of product and we are demonstrating it, we will work monday through fri 930-6 and making killer money. this is going to be big to put on my resume.! i am so excited we were picked out of every salon in tucson.

Chris is interested in the university in denver he was so excited about it last night. thats one place i wouldnt mind moving too, i have never been back since i was born there so it would be a good time, i just dont know about driving in snow. i cant drive for crap as it is add snow to that i am doomed! : )

I miss all of you guys and cant wait to see every one for all of amys fun times that i will be in mesa for love ya

So it was a productive day we went to phx and took working women goodie bags with samples in them and candies and our cards to just say thankyou to workng women. so we did that hopefully we get some leads and book parties.

Chris got offered at job at the u of a!! yay and he also had a phone interview with a company in phx. he can start when ever he wants at the u of a. but we really want the job in phx, so we are holding off just a few days to see if any thing good comes of that.!! hopefully! they wanted to do another phone interview with some one else as well, so i hope they call today and offer him the position!! it would be absolutly wonderful to move back to phx with everyone.

Chris is doing better he is still in pain, but we are hoping it should calm down soon, the antibiotics seem to be working for him, poor boy i feel so bad for him.

Well thats about it, our computer isnt working so we are going to the school and the library to use their computers till we get ours working again. so if you need to get ahold of me call me

what a day..

What a day what a day what a day..well a couple days actually, Saturday morning Chris woke up complaining about a pain in his side, we didnt think any thing of it and just went on with the day, sunday rolls around and the pain is even worse. So Chris say what ever I will deal with it, by sunday night chris was in so much pain we decided when i was off work we were going to take him to the er at the va to find out whats wrong, well three and a half hours later we hadnt even been seen yet, chris said forget it lets just go i think its only gas so we went to wallgreens got some gas x and went to sleep this is at two am mind you. at four i wake up to chris throwing up and screaming in pain so i rush him back to the er and i go home and go back to sleep. 520 rolls around and chris calls to tell me to hurry down there he needs surgery, i am on and hour or so of sleep at this point freaking out thinking my boyfriend is dying. I run to the hospital and chris is hooked on an iv and getting some good stuff. they do bloode work, urine sample, ct scan, mri, ekgs, everything you can think of they did. and the doctors found nothing!!! nothing after all that. So a few days later they think his intestines are swollen, so a team of doctors give him all these different anitbiotics to see what helps what. he is doing a little better now we just got relesed this afternoon. now we are just waiting to make sure the anitbiotics work so that way we dont end up in the hospital in a few days again with pain because that stuff didnt work. its been pretty crazy.!

Amy: mommys not able to make it i think she has finals..maybe we can work something out. i really miss you and the babies.

saddest news in the whole world

So our roommate who we were suppose to move in with. last minute changed her mind. she wouldnt call us back text us back or email us back, so on and so forth. So we got screwed. I had my whole house packed and in my living room ready and waiting to go. and then she pulled that crap. who does that? She couldnt even tell us no i dont want you to live with us any more. who does that? why would you do that? like omg. UGH it makes me want to scream. So Chris and i have no idea what were are going to do right now. we dont know how much longer we have the house for, chris is having a hard time getting a job. ugh. its rough. : (

So Chris and I have 15 days till we move. it was 23 but we decided to go the 1 st of august. so we arerushing to pay our bills for next month so we can head out.

Mom and i saw wicked last night and i cant even begin to say how amazing it was. it was the best early birthday present in the whole world. i will never forget that amazing experience.

So earlier yesterday morning i went to the funeral service for my beautiful friend caitlin marie moore. she passed away early friday the 11 in a tragic car accidcent. caitlin will always be remembered as a loving beautiful crazy carefree girl. she touched everyones hearts she met. i loved her to death and she will always be with me in my heart. my prayers go out to her family and everyone see knew.

So I lost EVERY phone number because those stupid cool phones are difficult to figure out, haha. So I finally heard back from a salon, I start on tuesday!!!!! I will start out receptioning two days a week, until Ric needs an assistant. So I can get my foot in the door and start and get to know the salon.! Im so excited. I went shopping and got a couple new outfits for the salon at ross and spent only 100 bucks and got 8 shirts two pairs of shoes and two pairs of shorts, chris told me i looked funny tho so im taking a few things back. but i made out pretty good if i do say so myself.

Hanks doing really well, he has ate two casts so we are on the third one, he is such a monster man.!

So attention my family: I want to have a sunday night dinner at my house so Chris and I are planning it right now, we will let you all know ahead of time so we can make sure you all come. Amy I have called you like everyday and left you messages, call me back! I want to talk to you I miss you.

So it has been such a crazy week, some many things have happened, I will start with last saturday.

Saturday: I had to work a double that day so I left around 11 for work, and its a pretty slow day, nothing to exciting then the night comes, and its the day before mothers day so its suppose to be really busy. Well it was super busy and we dont close till 11 saturdays. So around 9 i get a call on the work phone, a host came up to me adnw as like umm so guy name chris is on the phone for you, do you want me to take a message and tight when she said some one was on the phone for me i knew something was wrong just bc no one ever calls me on the work phone. So chris is frantic on the phone and he was like "babe, i think Hank broke his leg, get home know!" Chris didnt have his car bc it was at his brothers house so he was waiting for me so we could take Hank to the hospital. So i am rushing around work crying trying to find a manager to let me leave. So i leave work run to my car make it home in 12 minutes, and mind you I live 25-30 minutes away from my work. So I pick up my boys and head to the doggy er. We were there till 2 he got a soft cast and some pills and we were told he had a spiral fracture. The er couldnt do anything so 800 dollars later, they sent us to an orthepidic surgeon. We had an appointment the next day. But still saturday night..any time you barely moved Hank he made this awful yelping sound, and it was so hard, i spent a descent amount of the night balling because i felt so bad. So we probably got 30 minutes of sleep that night because hank wouldnt stop crying.

Sunday: I was suppose to work a double for mothers day so i could make some good money so i was suppose to be in at 930, and i called in bc i couldnt work on 30 minutes of sleep and we couldnt leave hank alone, so another dy of just laying holding hank down n trying not to let him get up and walk around. Again sunday night, no sleep. Chris and I were taking turns laying with him.

Monday: we had an appointment at the Orthepidic surgeon, and he got more ex rays and they decided he might need surgery so after we put 1800 dollars for a deposit we left hank to sit and get a morphine drip to keep him down, we went home and sat and worried all day and night.

Tuesday: They called and decided he didnt need surgery after all he just got a hard cast and got to come home. he wa still a little out of it, so it hurt him to do anything and kept using chris as a crutch. At the end of tuesday Hank was all normal again. He was walking around and he finally went to the bathroom.!!!! which he hadnt in days..

Every thing is getting so much better.. he is acting like a normal puppy again, its just so funny to see him walking around and dragging his little cast every where behind him.

THURSDAY!!!!!!! Chris graduated from college. It was such a hectic day. Everyone one came down to see his big day we had everyone over to our house. and it was so nice.

So today was the worst day ever. So Chris and I wake up take a shower and are getting ready chris decides he wants a hair cut, and i was like ok i need one too, so we go to supercuts and the lady is telling me she is the manager and has been doing hair for 13 years, well i have been doing hair what 2 years and i can cut hair better then that beotch, man o man, she sure did a number on me. i just wanted a little of the bottom because my hair was getting bad, its been about a year since i got it cut, so she took 3 inches off the bottom and about 5 off my layers, well at this point im like omg what is she doing. So chris and i leave and i look in the window and was like babe my hair is sooo short, i get home and i blow dry it and i just start balling, my hair looked like a 5 yr old cut it. it was bad, i could have cut it better myself then what she did. So i made an appointment at a real salon and got to work to fixing it. It is soooo short now but it looks so much better, here is a picture...i look like a 14 year old. haha better for chris though, haha. he was like good i dont need to trade u in for a younger girl! : ) well its almost time to see everyone yay! cant wait..

HAIR HEAVEN!!!!

So i went to this place called Cosmo Prof, and you have to have your cosmetology licensed to get in the door, and it was the best place I have ever been. I decided i was sick of how my hair was and Chris told me I cant get it done for 7 months and i have to pay off my credit card before i do (which is his usual answer when i ask to buy something) So i went to the hair heaven and bought stuff to do my hair myself, and if I do say so myself it looks pretty good. Its kinda orangy where the red was but it still looks good. I called a salon today they said they would give me a call when they start interviews hope this one works out. wish me luck i need to get into a salon soon or im gunna go crazy. miss u all love u

Hi everyone. So heres whats happeneing on my side of the world.

Still no change in the salon industry. no one wants me right now, so im continueing to do hair right here in my own home. Im still just workin at roadhouse, living the dream. All my babies are doing good. Hank is getting so big and all the puppies just love each other so much, they are so amazing.

Chris and I are probaly not going to move to california, we are going to work our butts off this summer and pay off all our loans and stuff since chris has been offered a couple amazing job oppertunities. If things go as plan we will be well off before chris goes back to school for grad school.

I miss you all so much, and i hope i can see you all soon. I love you, sorry im boring

I hate job hunting its ridiculous. No one ever wants to hire someone with no experience, but how the h am i suppose to get experience if no one will hire me? answer me that. I wish some one would just say ok come on in and we will give you a job and help you. haha right
So I am no longer an employee at oreganos pizza bistro. thank god is an understatement. It was getting out of hand. The GM tried telling me I only care about myself and that he cant run his buisness around me. Which i thought was completly bull crap. I have worked there a year for crying out loud. So after some words being exchanged i told him i couldnt work for someone who didnt give a crap about his employees. So he told me to get out and I told him what i really thought. It was very very sad, because i loved my job there, its by far the best job i have ever had, i loved everyone there and im very sad to be gone, but enough is enough that job was my life and to be told i didnt do anything for them and i was selfish was aboslutley the last thing i could take. Chris probably likes me alot more because i dont come home grumpy and stressed out from 13 hour days.
Chris and I talked to a real estate agent and he is suppose to send us some houses in certain areas that we were looking at in cali so we have about four to five months untill the big move. Chris was also offered a job her in the lab he is working at now starting at 30,000 a year but he could easily be getting 50 k somewhere in cali. If his lab offers him more we might stay it just depends we dont want to settle because we can get more then that.

So i called an scheduled my written today! i take it on monday, so now its cram time. Thanks so much for all of those who have helped me so much. I feel so much better about myself, I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders and i can finally breath, I know the last 2 years of my life were not a total waist of time, and i didnt throw a ton of money out the window. Chris and I are so excited I can finally get my career on the road and start off like a real grown up. DaNg! Im all grown up.

Chris and I were talking this morning and we are commiting to California a 100 %. It is going to be a fursure thing. No matter what we are getting out of Tucson. The only way its not going to happen is if the economy falls flat on its face and there is absolutly nothing for us there, but as of now there is way more job openings and way more tings for us out there..plus lets get real there is the beach! haha, we feel really confident that this is a good thing and we need to do it.

I will be in town the 20 and 21 for lizs wedding jillians siste so maybe i can come see you guys. love you all and hope to hear from u soon.

So new news, Last weekend it was Bella PeeWees and Roxies Birthday party. It was a mad house here, there was 12 humans and 10 dogs. The puppies all had a blast, their owners did too. We have a new son in the house, his name is Hank TheTank he is a 10 week old boxer he is the most preciuous thing in the whole entire world. He gets so along very well with all the other puppies which is an awesome thing.

Six Flags was so amazing. We went all day open to close two days in a row.! Chris and I had so much fun..but its nice to be on our way home..its been a long but fun weekend. Im ready to eat some real food and sleep with my babies in my bed.. We didn't look at any house chris won't find out for sure what we are doing when he graduates until atleast next month. We loved it in La Jolla which is where Mandie is from(my friend we will be moving with) its so beautiful. The only thing there is no wall mart target or any big stores they didn't want to ruin the small town thing they had going on. Its just 30 minutes away from where my dad grew up. Well I will post pictures up when I get home. Love u all and miss you..

So we are in california right now its so beautiful!!!! We went to dinner at this place called Dicks and they are just rude to you but its hilarious.!but man is that crap expensive...it was 120 for 4 of us!!!!!!!! cheese and rice.
Tomorrow we are going to La Jolla where Mandie grew up, and then headed to LA.. to see Jake play base ball..then sat and sunday we are going to six flaggs to ride the roller coasters..i will put pictures up when we get home.
I cant wait to hopefully live here. It will be so amazing. You will all be jealous. Cant wait to see you guys miss you and love you.. : )

California is just rolling around the corner, and man has it been a long week. I worked like 60 hours the past week to make money to afford it and bills, a vacation is well needed let me tell you.
We are visiting san diego to look at the houses then visiting my cousin Morgan who lives there as well she does cancer research and thats pretty much what Chris wants to do so we wanted to meet her. We are going to Six Flags on saturday and watching Jake Mandies boyfriend play base ball on Sunday. I will send you all a post card.. : )
There really isnt much to tell today all i have done the past week and a half is WoRk. And working is all i am pretty much doing untill we leave to cali. I miss you all and i am sending out your letters soon. Its been a busy week and I was awaiting Amys email with her address.

SCRAP BOOKING MADNESS

For all of you who i dont see ever this is my blog i will send it to you every time i update it, so we can keep in touch. I am awful at phone calls so text me or email or you can hear all about my crazy life here. This week im workin aton of hours chris and i are going to sd california in 12 days and counting to look at houses with a couple that were good friends with. Chris has a year off between grad school and when he graduates in may, we think its a fabulous time for us to get away when we dont have kids and explore. : ) This will be an awesome experience for us if it works out so cross your fingers.
So for all of you who dont know. I am a scrap booking fool the past few months. I have sent out a few things to a few people, let me know when they arrive i still need your address amy so if you could get that to me it would be great. If you have any pictures of us send them to me so i can add them to my scrap.

Hi everyone I am Christy Rookhuyzen, right now I live in tucson az with my amazing boyfriend Christopher Clay Evans with have to amzing puppies, Bella is 3 she is a blue nose pit bull. Pee-wee is 5 and he is a pug. they are our children.

I am working two jobs to help out Chris with school and to take care of things. He is in school rihgt now but graduates in may.! Then off to San Diego we go. !!! THen back to where ever school takes us for four to five years of grad school.

I am getting my license for Cosmetology this month so I can start working in a salon, i have one lined up for when i do get it YAY wish me luck. : )

Hope to write in this alot since i dont call any one that much. miss and love you all..
